NHATS Overview
The National Health and Aging Trends Study (NHATS) is a study of Medicare beneficiaries age 65 years and older. The study is being conducted by the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health with Westat and is sponsored by the National Institute on Aging (NIA). The study is following the selected Medicare beneficiaries to look at how daily life and activities change as they age.
